I SEEK CREATIVE DESIGN SOLUTIONS TO CREATE ELEGANT & TIMELESS RESIDENCES
As a 1920 Colonial home with a small kitchen, we were up for the task to open up the area to the family and dining spaces for a modern lifestyle. The kitchen was remodeled to expand and open up to connect the space to the formal dining room. We transformed a former study space for a new side entry and mudroom just off of the kitchen. An existing bathroom was updated with a new vanity and shower.
To finish off the project the lower level was also remodeled to create a light filled informal family gathering space with a small kitchenette.
In this project, the family room opens directly to the new kitchen and breakfast space to create a wonderful room to live in. We combined two smaller spaces and a small addition to create a large new space for entertaining. The new fireplace acts as an anchor and focal point and new bookcases on two walls add charm to the large space. With plenty of seating and natural light, this family room is a pleasure to relax in.
This remodeled kitchen was opened up to a previous formal dining room for a pleasant gathering space. The eat-in kitchen features a luxurious farmhouse sink, recessed-panel cabinets and is topped off with quartzite countertops - perfect for entertaining and family gatherings.
The project opened up a formerly separated kitchen and breakfast room spaces. New cabinetry in a cheerful blue color and clean white counters create a contemporary fresh feeling while an island acts as a new gathering place. Combined with an existing step down family room and new mudroom, the space now flows well for this family with young children.
This project was the renovation of two existing bedrooms in a Craftsman style house to create a new master suite. The bedroom is now linked to an existing sun porch and the creation of a new master bath. Elements of the existing space, such as doors with transoms and casings, were reused in the renovation to create a seamless connection between the new suite and the original house interiors.
This enclosed porch adds to the home's exterior beauty and function. The porch design provides areas to kick back and enjoy an early morning sunrise or an afternoon soak in the sun.
This project included an exterior elevation, addition to existing rowhouse, with new door access to brick terrace. Upon entry, a new staircase of stained white oak treads is a central feature. The staircase connects the two floors together under a skylight.
Moving further into the interior, the new kitchen includes a light filled window seat for relaxing paired with an island for dining. The design also allows for easy access to outdoor terrace. The new master bathroom includes a floating double sink vanity with mosaic tile splash and large mirror. The shower has curbless entry with frameless glass door, seat and overhead skylight.
